No matter where you are; work, school or the gym, you are normally surrounded by lockers. These can be quite convenient little methods of storing your items for a certain period of time because nobody wants to lug all of their belongings around with them. Having the privilege of leaving your items in a locker, not having to carry them around causing backache, without worrying about leaving them somewhere is an absolute delight… But what locker should you get? What should you put in your locker? What considerations should you take into account?

What should be in your locker?
Lockers should contain belongings that you don’t need all the time, so you don’t need to carry them around all day – lunch, coats, umbrellas, change of clothes, bike gear if you cycle to work, etc. are all good examples of what you may keep in your locker. Depending on your hygiene and grooming requirements, you may consider keeping some deodorant, hand wash, moisturiser, a mirror, brush or comb, dental floss, etc., in your locker.
You could also personalise your locker; put some photos of your children, partners and pets on the inside. Include a mini calendar or wall planner to keep yourself organised.
Considerations to take into account
When it comes to choosing your lockers you need to make sure you know;
What size you have
You need to make sure you know what size area you have, allowing you to choose the right locker size.
Your need
You need to know what you need them for – yes to store items, however do you need them to be waterproof at leisure centres, heavy duty within a warehouse, etc.
Size per locker
Do you need long lockers, or smaller lockers? Depending on the size of the area you have and the number of lockers you need, will give you an idea.
